Control Systems Engineer

• Develop and implement standards for plant control systems (PCS) and automation processes
• Manage and maintain PCS, including SCADA and PLC programming, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Supervise contractors and site personnel involved in control systems and automation projects
• Install, program, and maintain Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley, Plant SCADA, Citect SCADA, and PLC systems)
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults within data networks including Ethernet, ControlNet, and Modbus communication systems
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering Manager, Mine Manager, CHPP Superintendent, and General Manager to achieve operational targets
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and safety regulations

• Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Trade background with strong PLC programming experience
• Experience in Rockwell Automation software, including Allen-Bradley PLCs and Plant SCADA
• Strong capability in SCADA system development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with automation and control system projects in heavy industrial environments
• Exposure to underground coal mining is highly desirable, but applicants from heavy industry or industrial automation backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic mining environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams
