Working within Unitrust’s HQ, your primary role is to respond, report and take responsibility for the staffing and operations of all Unitrust sites.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver outstanding customer service to staff, clients and stakeholders
Scheduling staff for all Unitrust sites in conjunction with the Lead Schedular and the Operational Managers
Ensuring the management team is kept up to date with staffing issues on all sites
Complete incident reports as necessary and ensure that the relevant Operational Manager and other required persons/departments are informed
Assist in the management of non-assigned contract support officers, ensuring adequate shifts are allocated, and Officers are regularly communicated with by direction from the Lead Schedular
Co-ordinate onsite training for all Officers as directed by the Operational Managers in the absence of the Lead Schedular
Ensure staff details are relevant and up to date in conjunction with Human Resources
Assist with Unitrust function staffing in consultation with the Operations team
Carrying out control room duties as required
Carrying out in a professional and diligent manner all other duties properly assignable to the position of Controller
To comply with applicable environmental, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices. You will have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work
Conduct remote monitoring as required
Ensure that all Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity which could breach the SIA or other relevant regulations
To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager
To support internal and external audit processes from Unitrust Security representatives, the SIA, and any other relevant body with a relevant interest and valid reason for inspection or compliance checks

Requirements:
Extensive experience in the use of Timegate or other time and attendance technologies
Previous experience in the security industry and / or within the hospitality sector or corporate environment with a view to obtaining an SIA licence if not already held
A consistently smart appearance
Reliability, self-motivation and ability to use own initiative and work without supervision
The ability, tact and diplomacy to deal with people at all levels
The ability to plan a shift to maximise effectiveness
Self-confidence and an interest in self-development
Exposure to relevant Protective Security or Counter Terrorism Advice
Previous experience in technologies to detect security threats in any given environment
Good literacy and communication skills and have excellent verbal and written English
Possess a good telephone manner
Be computer literate
Officers must have the Security Industry Training Organisation basic qualification
An interest in the continuous improvement of the Company’s performance
The nature of the role is such that it is essential that the post holder has and will maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping
