Job Description:

A dedicated Control Framework Specialist to deliver the Credit Risk Operational Control Framework (OCF) reference controls. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all controls are delivered in line with the approved methodology and defined value chain scope, meeting the targeted due dates to align with ECB expectations. As a Control Framework Specialist, you are responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of operational controls within the Credit Risk domain. You will work as part of an integrated delivery team, collaborating closely with the internal Credit Risk Control team and identified Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) across the value chain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all controls are delivered in line with the approved methodology and defined value chain scope
  • Apply the OCF methodology and scope to build a robust reference control set
  • Work with requirement owners to specify control needs, identify existing controls, and perform thorough gap analyses
  • Manage the review, challenge, and approval cycle for all OCF deliverables
  • Coordinate sign-offs and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure high-quality outputs
  • Ensuring the complete capture of requirements in the control register
  • Developing communication decks for wider stakeholder alignment
  • Preparing proportionate training materials to support the implementation
  • Translating complex methodologies into practical, implementable controls for the business

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Operational Control Frameworks (OCF)
  • Strong background in process and/or data control design within a financial services context
  • Proven experience in defining control requirements, assessing existing controls, and performing gap analysis
