Job Description:

This long-term opportunity is a chance to contribute to services that add real value to the community and support essential operations across our state. Offering stability through to September 2026 and the chance to join a collaborative team delivering critical operational support. We are seeking a Contracts Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and system support across a busy contracts function. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help maintain accurate records and ensure smooth processing of contract-related documentation and financial transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and update the contracts register, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support contracts administration, including preparing and processing minor variations
  • Manage Oracle and Basware tasks, including raising and receipting Purchase Orders and handling invoices
  • Assist with general contract enquiries and provide timely support to team members
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficient workflow management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in contract administration or procurement support
  • SA Government experience highly regarded
  • Confidence using financial or procurement systems (Oracle/Basware highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to start ASAP
