We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Specialist to support international major capital projects. This role is responsible for drafting, negotiating, administering, and managing contracts that support offshore and global project execution. The Contracts Specialist will ensure contractual compliance with company policies, mitigate commercial and contractual risk, and enable safe, reliable, and efficient execution of project and operational objective.
Job Responsibility:
Contract Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute contract strategies aligned with project objectives, risk profiles, and commercial requirements for international major capital projects, including equipment, services, logistics, and field support. Serve as an SCM Lead in early planning by aligning sourcing, contracting, and execution strategies across multiple geographies and project phases
Contract Development & Negotiation: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, amendments, and change orders in accordance with company’s standards, legal requirements, and approved commercial strategies, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional agreements supporting international project execution
Commercial Structuring & Pricing: Identify and apply appropriate commercial models, including T&M, lump sum, and unit rate structures, for engineering, FEED, fabrication, construction, and international logistics scopes
support bid evaluations and commercial alignment for complex project packages
Contract Administration: Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including execution, interpretation, change management, claims support, close-out activities, and oversight of logistics-related contractual obligations, deliverables, and interfaces
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, approval authorities, and applicable regulations

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, legal, finance, engineering, and project teams to align contract terms with operational, schedule, and supply chain requirements
as SCM Lead, provide oversight of logistics planning and execution across international suppliers, fabrication sites, logistics hubs, and project stakeholders to ensure contractual milestones, transportation interfaces, and delivery commitments are met
Logistics Oversight: Provide SCM leadership and oversight for international logistics strategy and execution, including coordination of transportation plans, freight forwarding interfaces, customs and trade compliance considerations, consolidation points, delivery planning, and issue resolution to support project schedule and operational requirements
Supplier & Contractor Interface: Serve as the primary commercial and contractual point of contact for suppliers and contractors, including international vendors, freight and logistics providers, and fabrication yards

Change Management: Manage contract changes, variations, and claims, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and alignment with commercial intent
Reporting & Contract Status: Maintain contract status reports, track key contractual deliverables, and participate in contract and project status meetings
provide SCM lead visibility on commercial exposure, supplier performance, logistics interfaces, and execution readiness across international projects
Risk & Cost Management: Identify contractual risks and opportunities, support mitigation strategies, and contribute to cost control and value optimization initiatives
Market & Regulatory Awareness: Monitor market conditions, contract trends, and regulatory considerations, including international trade, customs, and local content requirements, to inform contract strategies, sourcing decisions, and negotiations
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using SMART by GEP for procurement and sourcing activities
Strong working knowledge of SharePoint for document management and collaboration
Ability to manage procurement data, reports, and documentation accurately
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and process discipline
