We have exciting opportunities for a Contracts Specialist and Contracts Administrator to join the Project Commercial Team in our Perth Office! In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial administration of contracts and subcontracts on the K2 Project, ensuring that performance, claims, variations, and correspondence are managed in strict accordance with the subcontract terms, the Delegation of Authority (DOA) Matrix, and the Project's Commercial and Financial Control Plans. Clough is delivering the design and construction of the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 project (K2), a new 220 MW gas fired power station to be built in Kwinana, south of Perth. K2 will deliver fast start, flexible generation to provide critical backup capacity that supports the increasing application of renewable energy across Western Australia.
Job Responsibility:
Administer assigned contracts from award through to close-out in accordance with contract terms and project procedures
Review, assess, and process subcontractor payment claims
Receive, review, and assess: Variation claims, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, Other commercial claims under subcontracts
Support assessment of time-related claims in coordination with Planning/Scheduling
Attend and record subcontract commercial and progress meetings
Assist package teams in managing subcontract quality obligations, including alignment with subcontract quality requirements
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce, or similar
Demonstrated experience as a Contract(s) Administrator on EPC or major construction projects
Strong understanding of subcontract administration, claims, and variation assessment
Experience working within defined DOA and financial control frameworks
Exposure to power, energy, or heavy industrial projects (preferred)
Strong contract interpretation and commercial judgement
High attention to detail and structured record-keeping
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and delivery teams
