Job Responsibility
In support of sales activities, negotiates all standard and nonstandard contracts
Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties
Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations
Plans and participates in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel
Provides Contracts support by reviewing and interpreting contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering interwork transfer agreements (IWTAs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) / rough order magnitudes (ROMs)
Adept in understanding contract terms, articulating those positions to the business and ensuring the program teams are able to effectively understand the impacts of the agreements reached with the Customer
Ensures contract responsibilities are compliant with company Policies and Procedures and implementing business strategies for on-contract new business opportunities
Manages, participates in and / or conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Advises leadership and Program management of contractual rights, obligations and risks
compiles and analyzes data
and maintains historical contract information
Requirements
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of experience
Master's with 6-8 years of experience
Preferrably in the subject matter areas of Business or Administration
