Job Responsibility

  • In support of sales activities, negotiates all standard and nonstandard contracts
  • Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties
  • Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations
  • Plans and participates in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel
  • Provides Contracts support by reviewing and interpreting contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering interwork transfer agreements (IWTAs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) / rough order magnitudes (ROMs)
  • Adept in understanding contract terms, articulating those positions to the business and ensuring the program teams are able to effectively understand the impacts of the agreements reached with the Customer
  • Ensures contract responsibilities are compliant with company Policies and Procedures and implementing business strategies for on-contract new business opportunities
  • Manages, participates in and / or conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Advises leadership and Program management of contractual rights, obligations and risks
  • compiles and analyzes data
  • and maintains historical contract information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of experience
  • Master's with 6-8 years of experience
  • Preferrably in the subject matter areas of Business or Administration
