Job Description

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to support critical agreement activity for our aerospace business in North Texas. This position works across legal, commercial, operational, and supply chain teams to guide contracts from initial drafting through negotiation, execution, and ongoing compliance. The role offers strong visibility into customer and vendor agreements while helping the organization manage risk and support long-term business objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare, revise, and negotiate a variety of business agreements, including customer-facing and supplier-related contracts
  • Work closely with teams such as sales, procurement, engineering, program management, and customer support to align contract terms with operational needs
  • Evaluate contractual language to identify legal and commercial exposure, then recommend practical solutions that protect business interests
  • Lead or contribute to discussions with clients, vendors, and external partners to finalize acceptable contract terms
  • Confirm that agreements meet company policies, applicable regulations, and internal governance requirements before execution
  • Organize and maintain complete contract records within designated management tools to support accessibility, tracking, and audit readiness
  • Provide guidance to managers and business leaders on key obligations, entitlements, and areas of contractual risk
  • Address contract performance issues and support resolution efforts to help maintain strong business relationships and delivery outcomes
  • Monitor historical contract information and reporting data to assist with analysis, planning, and decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 4 years of experience managing commercial contracts in a business environment that requires strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to draft, edit, and negotiate contract language with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong skill in explaining complex legal or contractual concepts in clear, business-focused terms
  • Excellent analytical judgment, attention to detail, and risk assessment capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and document preparation tools
  • Experience using contract lifecycle management platforms or related legal technology is preferred
  • Background in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or other regulated environments is a plus
