Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of surfacing activities in either a local authority or strategic road networking environment
  • A qualification or membership in a relevant technical institution is desirable

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting requirements
  • Support the negotiation of commercial terms with service providers and partners
  • Maintain contract records, correspondence, and documentation
  • Work closely with Asset Management & Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to ensure contractual alignment with operational objectives
  • Identify contractual risks, inconsistencies, and potential claims, and support mitigation strategies
  • Work closely with the Performance and Operations teams to translate technical underperformance into actionable commercial claims, leading the quantification and recovery of Liquidated Damages (LDs) and performance penalties
