Robert Half is looking for a Contracts Manager to support our client on a hybrid basis Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract position will play a central role in shaping customer and purchasing agreements, partnering across sales and internal business functions to move contracts forward efficiently and responsibly. The role requires strong judgment in evaluating terms, managing risk, and coordinating approvals while maintaining accurate contract administration throughout the process.
Job Responsibility
Reviewing, drafting, redlining, negotiating, and implementing customer contracts while ensuring pricing accuracy and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle
Serve as a primary resource for contract-related questions
Assess contractual risk, secure internal approvals, and work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, Operations, and Sales teams
Administer pricing agreements, maintain contract databases and records, monitor contract and pricing accuracy within internal systems
Develop reports for leadership, analyze contract performance, and identify opportunities to improve contract workflows and processes
Support RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, bids, and other customer contract requests
Help internal stakeholders understand contract language and requirements
Requirements
3+ years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or a related commercial agreements role
Experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering commercial contracts
Strong understanding of contract language and risk allocation concepts, including liability, indemnification, and commercial terms
Ability to assess contractual risk, identify compliance concerns, and escalate issues appropriately
Experience managing pricing agreements, contract terms, and contract databases
Strong analytical and reporting skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and other business systems
Business analyst capabilities, including contract tracking, reporting, database maintenance, and process management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex contract language for business stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Background in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or commercial operations preferred
Experience working with GPOs, or IDNs
