Job Description

We are partnering with a highly respected, award-winning regional main contractor to recruit a strategic Contracts Manager for their thriving Oxford division. This is a senior, operational leadership role. Instead of being tied to a single site, you will provide high-level orchestration, commercial oversight, and team leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Sharing responsibility for a £20m divisional turnover
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee approximately 10 live projects simultaneously
  • Strategic Leadership: Focus on profitability, programming, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Team Management: Directly manage and mentor Project Managers and Site Managers
  • Client Relations: Act as the senior point of contact for clients and consultants

Requirements

  • Proven track record within a UK main contractor, managing or exposed to multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent programming skills, and the ability to manage teams remotely
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and a full UK driving license
