We are looking for a Contracts Manager to support high-value commercial agreements and proposal activity for a Long-term Contract position based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on pre-award assessment, complex negotiations, and contract oversight within a fast-paced technology environment. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, understands how strategic deals are structured, and can work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts tied to bids, proposals, and pre-sales opportunities
Conduct pre-award due diligence by evaluating contractual risk, commercial terms, and compliance considerations before deal execution
Partner with sales, legal, finance, and operational teams to shape deal structures and move opportunities through internal review processes
Manage complex negotiations for technology-focused agreements, including global commercial arrangements with varied stakeholder interests
Provide clear guidance during question-and-answer phases of proposals to ensure contract language aligns with business objectives
Identify issues that require escalation and engage the appropriate internal teams at the right stage of the negotiation process
Support bid and proposal efforts by contributing contract expertise, timeline awareness, and commercially practical solutions
Maintain contract administration activities, including document review, version control, and coordination of approvals through award completion
Requirements:
Proven experience managing commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual terms
Strong background in contract negotiations within a technology, commercial, or services environment
Working knowledge of contract management and contract administration practices across the full agreement lifecycle
Ability to assess deal risk and apply sound judgment during pre-award review and negotiation activities
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and influencing decisions in complex business discussions
Familiarity with proposal support, deal desk operations, bid management, or related pre-sales contract functions
Nice to have:
Understanding of U.S. state contracting requirements is highly preferred
Relevant experience in roles such as Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, Contract Administrator, Negotiator, or a contracts-focused paralegal
