Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager/Real Estate Paralegal to join our Procurement Contracts team in Midtown Manhattan, NY. In this role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of contracts, ensuring seamless execution, renewal, and closeout processes while maintaining compliance with all contractual obligations. This long-term contract position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across multiple departments, including asset management, construction, IT, legal, and corporate services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, including initiation, execution, renewal, and closeout
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and adherence to contractual terms
  • Develop, review, and update procurement contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Monitor and track contractual obligations to ensure fulfillment by all parties involved
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address contract-related issues and provide solutions
  • Assist in drafting amendments, auditing contract terms, and maintaining documentation records
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure contracts align with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support in claim administration and billing functions tied to procurement contracts
  • Utilize tools such as Adobe Acrobat and other business systems to manage contract documentation efficiently
  • Contribute to process improvements for contract management workflows.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management and/or as a paralegal or a related field, preferably within the real estate or property industry
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Avaya CMS, and other business systems
  • Strong understanding of contract amendments, auditing practices, and claim administration
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including legal and IT departments
  • Solid communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations and billing functions is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar capacity.
