We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager/Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle while collaborating with various departments such as asset management, construction, development, IT, and legal. Job Responsibility:
Administer and oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and closeout
Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address contract-related needs and resolve potential issues
Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and amendments using appropriate systems and tools
Conduct audits to ensure contracts adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
Manage billing functions and ensure timely processing of payments aligned with contract terms
Provide support for claim administration and related documentation
Review and edit contracts using tools like Adobe Acrobat to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist in coordinating clinical trial operations and other specialized projects as needed
Contribute to process improvements and ensure efficient contract management workflows.
Requirements:
Proven experience in contract management, paralegal work, or a related field within real estate or corporate environments
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Avaya CMS, and other business systems
Strong understanding of amendments, auditing processes, and billing functions
Familiarity with claim administration and clinical trial operations
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
Knowledge of procurement practices and vendor management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
