Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager/Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle while collaborating with various departments such as asset management, construction, development, IT, and legal. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in contract administration, this role is ideal for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and closeout
  • Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address contract-related needs and resolve potential issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and amendments using appropriate systems and tools
  • Conduct audits to ensure contracts adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage billing functions and ensure timely processing of payments aligned with contract terms
  • Provide support for claim administration and related documentation
  • Review and edit contracts using tools like Adobe Acrobat to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in coordinating clinical trial operations and other specialized projects as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure efficient contract management workflows.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management, paralegal work, or a related field within real estate or corporate environments
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Avaya CMS, and other business systems
  • Strong understanding of amendments, auditing processes, and billing functions
  • Familiarity with claim administration and clinical trial operations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and vendor management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
