Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager - Procurement Specialist to join major British Irish multinational energy company's IT & Telco Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating the supply of IT and Telecommunications services, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external legislation

Job Responsibility

  • Lead sourcing activities for IT & Telco services
  • Develop robust contracting and negotiation strategies
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex IT contracts
  • Manage negotiations with Tier 1 technology vendors
  • Support supplier relationship management and performance reviews
  • Work closely with Legal, Data Protection, Information Security, and Project teams
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes
  • Interpret and apply statutory and legal provisions relevant to IT procurement
  • Maintain accurate documentation in procurement systems

Requirements

  • IT procurement experience of around 10 years
  • Cyber or Risk understanding beneficial
  • Proficient in contract knowledge, use of IT contracts including the authoring of terms
  • Able to explain complex contractual ecosystems and advise approached to remediate
  • Solid negotiation experience with Tier 1 technology partners
  • Excellent Stakeholder management
  • Methodical and process driven
