Our client, a leading DMC in the heart of London, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Group and Sales Operations Supervisor to join their talented team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our client's group and sales operations, ensuring seamless collaboration, streamlined processes, and a customer-centric approach. You will lead and motivate staff, monitor team performance, and ensure operational procedures are followed consistently. Acting as a key link between management and frontline teams, supporting business objectives through effective coordination, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our client's group operational team, ensuring efficient workflows and maintaining exceptional service standards
Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Ensure a high level of attention to detail across the entire booking process, from initial quotation to post-travel follow-up
Ensure all bookings and reservations are accurately entered and maintained in Tourplan NX
Issue invoices to clients in line with agreed payment terms
Attend company familiarisation (FAM) trips and supplier events to maintain up-to-date industry knowledge
Requirements:
Previous experience in the travel industry is required
Significant experience in a group operations supervisory or management role, preferably within a fast-paced TRAVEL / TOURISM / HOTEL environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
A proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the UK, France and Ireland is considered a plus
