Job Description

Our client, a global luxury retail brand, is seeking an experienced Contracts Counsel to join their growing in-house legal team. This is a Hybrid role that sits out of Midtown, Manhattan. Seeking a NY-Barred Attorney with 5+ years of commercial contracts experience. Amazing benefits & a great workplace culture.

Job Responsibility

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including licensing, marketing &, Tech (SaaS), vendor, consulting, SOWs, NDAs, and other agreements
  • Advise on risk mitigation
  • Prepare and maintain corporate records, resolutions, entity formation, and related documents

Requirements

  • JD degree from accredited law school
  • Admission to practice in NYS
  • 5+ years related experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, preferable with a mix of law firm and in-house experience
  • Luxury / retail experience strongly preferred
  • Strong academic background
