Job Description

Turner Lovell are seeking an experienced Contracts & Claims Manager to support a growing Grid Technologies business based in Manchester. This role will focus on managing contractual risk, claims, and variations across complex engineering and energy infrastructure projects. A high-impact contract role offering competitive day rates and exposure to major UK energy infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Review and interpret customer and supplier contracts
  • Support PMs and CPMs with claims and commercial strategy
  • Identify, prepare, and manage incoming and outgoing claims
  • Draft contractual correspondence, notifications, and variations
  • Support dispute preparation and risk assessment
  • Work closely with legal, commercial, and procurement teams
  • Protect contractual entitlement and commercial position

Requirements

  • Strong experience in contracts and claims management
  • EPC contract knowledge within engineering or construction environments
  • Background in substations, HVDC, transmission, wind, or power projects
  • Degree-qualified (Engineering, QS, Contract Law or similar preferred)
  • Strong communicator, commercially aware, and detail-focused
