Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Contracts Advisor to work on a 12 months contract in Lima, OH

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including service agreements, supply contracts, and other legal documents
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and other departments to address contract-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract management processes
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for contract-related risks
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting contracts and procurement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, or a related field
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in contract management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and industry standards
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
