Reporting to our Corporate Counsel, but with a great deal of autonomy to maintain the organization and efficiency of the existing contract lifecycle process
Assist with drafting, amending, editing and negotiating client and vendor contracts for WilsonHCG services associated with WilsonHCG’s relevant business lines
Manage, implement, and enforce the lifecycle process of the contract workflow and management process from origination of a contract request until its final execution
Responsible for organizing contracts for tracking, retention, and recall in WilsonHCG’s databases, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and AdobeSign
Assist with contract negotiations on terms and conditions and escalate specific provisions and/or points of contention on legal and business issues to Corporate Counsel
Exercise independent judgment in consultation with Corporate Counsel
Acting as the initial contact for contract administration between the Legal Department and various functions supporting the business
Ensure all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly
Monitor the contract requests through the legal inbox and contract management system
Report on key contractual terms to business leaders, provide term summaries
Prepare expiration reports and assist business leaders with drafting contract extensions
Monitoring and tracking the status of legal matters and managing contract compliance
Saving and tagging contracts in the contract management system, updating the weekly contract dashboard for executives
Assist business with auditing procedures
Conduct trainings as needed on various contract processes
Requirements:
2-4 years’ experience
Professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred but not required
Experience in a role involving contracts administration and organization
Knowledgeable in drafting client service contracts and using a contract management system
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Demonstrates developing ability to anticipate impact and take initiative beyond direct responsibilities
Must have discretion and maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Sharepoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe
Comfortable with using various technology tools and performing actions such as tagging documents, reporting, and maintaining organized reports
Collaborative mindset with an internal team, while delivering with minimal supervision and administrative support
Demonstrate analytical ability and critical thinking skills
Exhibit the ability to work on multiple tasks during any given work week and shift between multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Organized and efficient in following pre-established protocols with the ability to prioritize and monitor work progress, have a high attention to detail, and analyze contracts data to provide meaningful recommendations
Exercise sound judgment in this role and have the ability to be successful while working independently and as part of a team
Effective communicator with the ability to convey clear and succinct messages both in written form and verbally
Comfortable working Eastern Standard (EST) hours
