Job Description

Ironclad is looking for an individual contributor to support Ironclad’s legal team and business partners in contract management. This role will manage a range of contracting activities and directly support the maintenance and optimization of Ironclad’s own instance of Ironclad. Our Contracts Administrator will partner with legal and cross-functional teams to support the full lifecycle of contracts. This role will be critical in ensuring Ironclad’s leaders and legal team are referencing accurate and comprehensive data to make informed decisions and help our company scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Leverage your deep Ironclad expertise to design, configure, and optimize contracting processes, while enabling business users to be self-sufficient
  • Ensure Ironclad’s permission configurations and workflows adhere to company policies, risk levels and legal requirements
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date contract records, metadata, and contract status within Ironclad
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Procurement, People team, etc.) in contract requests. Ensure timely coordination and turnaround of contract requests
  • Develop resources and assist in enabling business users on contracting processes
  • Assist Legal Counsel with document preparation, legal research, and special projects as needed
  • Serve as a “voice of the customer” by regularly sharing feedback to engineering, product, and design teams on Ironclad product features and use cases
  • Stay up-to-date on our product releases, with a focus on AI and workflow automation capabilities, and continuously build expertise to guide the Ironclad program effectively
  • Prepare, review, and process standard agreements (e.g., NDAs, order forms, amendments) in accordance with approved templates and playbooks

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a contract administration, paralegal, or similar role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company
  • 3+ years of experience using, managing, and implementing Ironclad CLM, including expertise in optimizing Ironclad within an organization
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Clear written and verbal communicator, with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and escalations effectively
  • Technically curious, self-driven to stay up-to-date on product updates and legal tech innovations, including system integrations
  • Ability to operate autonomously while being a collaborative, team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project execution skills
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong ownership mentality
