Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join a team on a long-term contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this Contracts Administrator role, you will play a pivotal part in managing contract administration functions, supporting both federal and non-federal agreements. If you have a background in legal or grants administration and thrive in a highly organized environment that would be ideal. As a Contracts Administrator, you will oversee contract management processes, maintain databases, support project closeouts, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will also handle sensitive information with discretion while collaborating with internal teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee contract management processes, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documents
  • Maintain and update legal and contractual databases to ensure accurate and organized records
  • Support the closeout of projects by tracking agreement statuses and ensuring compliance with contractual terms
  • Summarize key contractual terms and conditions for internal stakeholders
  • Manage document workflows and ensure timely approvals and signatures
  • Provide support for federal and non-federal contracting efforts, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of amendments, audits, and billing functions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with government grant requirements and federal contracting standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address contract-related inquiries and provide guidance
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in legal, contract, or grants administration
  • Familiarity with federal contracting regulations, including DCAA compliance, is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Costpoint, and Deltek
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access
  • Strong understanding of amendments, auditing, and billing processes
  • Experience with managing compliance requirements for government grants is an advantage
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
