Job Description

We are partnering with a nationally recognized homebuilder with a strong presence in the Midwest to identify a Contracts Administrator to support its growing operations. This organization is known for its high-volume residential construction environment, structured processes, and commitment to delivering quality homes across multiple communities. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of sales contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and administrative teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare, review, and distribute sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Process contract amendments, cancellations, and other modifications while maintaining detailed records
  • Organize and maintain contract files and documentation systems for easy access and tracking
  • Monitor active contracts and project statuses, providing regular updates and reports
  • Handle deposits and related financial documentation in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating administrative tasks to support internal teams
  • Facilitate meetings and special projects by providing necessary administrative support
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and administrative teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Update internal systems and external listings as required
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth contract administration processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration or a related administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • experience with JDE or similar ERP system a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
