We are looking for a detail-focused Contracts Administrator to support a 3-4 month Contract assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position centers on improving the quality, consistency, and usability of contract-related documentation by refining templates, organizing files, and strengthening document standards. The role offers the opportunity to work independently while partnering with internal teams to support efficient contract workflows and reliable business documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Design and update Microsoft Word templates for contracts and related documents to create a consistent and well-controlled format
Align contract templates with existing mail merge tools and document automation processes so files function smoothly in current workflows
Revise older contract documents by converting, cleaning, and reformatting them for practical electronic use
Review contract files to identify and correct issues involving layout consistency, version tracking, and overall document usability
Establish and maintain an organized central library for contracts and templates to improve accessibility and document control
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand documentation needs and incorporate feedback into template improvements
Prepare concise user instructions and deliver basic guidance to help team members use contract templates effectively
Recommend process and document enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use across contract administration activities
Requirements:
Experience supporting contract administration or contract management functions in a business environment that requires strong attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including strong knowledge of formatting, template creation, and document standardization
Ability to work with high volumes of documents while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with mail merge processes and document automation requirements related to contract documentation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage file structures, version control, and document libraries
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams
Comfortable working independently and managing assigned priorities with minimal supervision
