We are looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our client in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will manage various administrative tasks related to contracts, pay applications, and compliance documentation within the construction industry. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and submit monthly pay applications by calculating the percentage of work completed and attaching necessary materials documentation
Process change orders by updating contracts based on project adjustments and communicating with estimators and owners
Manage lien releases and notices to ensure compliance with subcontractor payment processes
Follow up with clients on overdue accounts and assist in collections for payments that are past due
Review and update contracts as needed
Track certificates of insurance and subcontractor agreements
Oversee drug testing procedures for technicians to ensure compliance
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in contracts administration, project administration/coordination, office management or related field
Strong knowledge of lien release processes and related documentation
Proficiency in managing pay applications and tracking project progress
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in the construction industry is preferred
