For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team. We are looking to recruit an experience Contract Administrator, Middle East & India to join our team based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper administration of contracts with Fugro’s key clients.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the administration of the contractual terms and conditions from contract award through close-out and final settlement for small and medium scale projects
Oversee performance and implementation of key contracts obligations to minimize contractual risk
Serve as point of contact with Legal in contractual matters and monitor contract compliance
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to draft/respond to client correspondence including notices
Coordinate with project managers to address contractual issues/risks related to cost/time variations
Support in preparation of project-claim related matters inclusive of dispute resolution
Support in preparation and negotiation of contract variances such as variation requests, extension of time
Maintain and track contractual records including communications/letters
Monitor project schedule and cashflow with Project Controls Engineer
Ensure timely issuance of Insurance Certificates and Bank Guarantees
Monitor and manage preparation of progress invoices with Project Admins and Project Controls Engineer and follow-up on cash collection
Support in preparation and negotiation of Subcontract Agreements
Ensure compliance with contractual notices and timely responses to Client’s communications
Support audit requirements pertaining to Contract Management
Attend important client and subcontractor meetings and ensure proper minutes of meeting recorded
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a Construction related degree with post grad legal training
4-5 Years minimum of Projects experience with EPC companies
