Randstad is partnering with a well-established, privately owned property developer to recruit a Contract Administrator. With more than 30 years in the market, this developer specialises in commercial mixed-use projects. Backed by a multi-million dollar portfolio of active and pipeline projects, they offer stability, growth, and an excellent environment for their team. In this role, you will play a key role in the commercial management and successful delivery of these projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence
  • Prepare tender packages, scopes of work, and expressions of interest
  • Evaluate subcontractor submissions and prepare tender recommendation reports
  • Assess and manage subcontractor claims, variations, and payment schedules
  • Draft, issue, and execute subcontract agreements and purchase orders
  • Support head contract administration and commercial risk management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian commercial construction industry
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management

  • 3 years' experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or similar role
