Randstad is partnering with a well-established, privately owned property developer to recruit a Contract Administrator. With more than 30 years in the market, this developer specialises in commercial mixed-use projects. Backed by a multi-million dollar portfolio of active and pipeline projects, they offer stability, growth, and an excellent environment for their team. In this role, you will play a key role in the commercial management and successful delivery of these projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Job Responsibility
Administer subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence
Prepare tender packages, scopes of work, and expressions of interest
Evaluate subcontractor submissions and prepare tender recommendation reports
Assess and manage subcontractor claims, variations, and payment schedules
Draft, issue, and execute subcontract agreements and purchase orders
Support head contract administration and commercial risk management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian commercial construction industry
Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills
Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management

3 years' experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or similar role
