CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR / CONTRACTS MANAGER – TIER 1 RAIL (SYDNEY METRO). We’re partnering with a Tier 1 contractor delivering a landmark Sydney Metro project seeking a sharp, commercially astute Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager ready to step into a high-impact role on a major M&E package. Being first boots on the ground this role would grow into a Manager’s role. This is not a sit-back role. You’ll be in the detail, driving commercial outcomes, protecting margin, and influencing project success on one of Australia’s most significant infrastructure builds.

Job Responsibility

  • End-to-end contract administration across complex rail M&E scopes
  • Managing variations, claims, and subcontractor packages
  • Driving cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
  • Supporting negotiations and resolving contractual issues
  • Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CA or Contracts Manager on major Tier one infrastructure projects (rail highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of contracts and managing contractors
  • Track record managing variations, claims, and subcontractor risk
  • Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and confident influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Tier 1 environment
