Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children with a range of communication disorders. You'll work closely with families, caregivers, and our clinical team to support each child’s individualized goals. As a 1099 contractor with us, you’ll maintain the autonomy that comes with private practice while we handle the logistics. We take care of scheduling, billing, and client onboarding so you can focus on what matters most: providing high-quality care to your clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric clients in a clinic setting
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
  • Address client and family concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Uphold ethical standards and best practices in line with ASHA guidelines
  • Ensure quality of care consistent with Behaven Kids policies, procedures, and relevant accrediting bodies

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Nebraska license to practice as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
  • Must meet licensure and credentialing requirements as defined by the state of Nebraska
  • Ability to work in an active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High level of discretion and judgment
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
