Job Description

Contracting Operator role focusing on the safe and effective application of Crop Protection Products, Micronutrition, and Fertiliser to a range of Agricultural settings in and around the Wigtoft area.

Job Responsibility

  • Operating self-propelled Agricultural spraying equipment
  • Driving various Agricultural application tools
  • Ensuring accurate and safe application of products
  • Operating and filling all spraying application equipment safely
  • Driving ATV style application equipment if qualified
  • Applicating a range of products accurately and safely
  • Loading and unloading goods and checking against order forms
  • Placing goods in vans, trailers, bowsers and other equipment
  • Moving heavy packages and pallets using forklift machinery
  • Ensuring the work area is kept neat, tidy & safe

Requirements

  • Driving licence is essential
  • Experience driving large vehicles & ATVs is beneficial
  • PA1, PA2 or PA4 qualification is beneficial
  • Ability to perform manual work
  • Willingness to work overtime in line with seasonal demands
  • Well organised with ambition to work within the agriculture industry
