We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll work closely with our [creative/marketing/content] team to edit compelling video content for various platforms, including web, social media, and digital campaigns. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling through video, has a strong creative vision, and can deliver high-quality edits under tight deadlines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives
  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and the marketing team to understand the vision and narrative
  • Add music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance videos
  • Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, website, etc.)
  • Ensure all content meets technical standards and brand consistency
  • Revise videos based on stakeholder feedback within set deadlines
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality
  • Organize and maintain video assets and project files

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required)
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and post-production workflow
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, color grading, and sound design
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
