We are recruiting for a leading facilities management company committed to delivering high-quality services to their clients across various sectors. Their team in salford is currently looking for an experienced Contracts supervisor to join them. The primary purpose of the role is to supervise and manage a team of static engineers, making sure that all PPM and Reactive Works are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and processes and procedures. The position is to ensure that all required Building Engineering services as per the Engineering Building strategy is carried out. The position will require you to provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity. Primary regard must be given to Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality considerations.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and manage a team of static engineers
Ensure all PPM and Reactive Works are completed safely and timely in accordance with contracted specifications
Provide engineering support in emergency situations
Ensure delivery of all specialist engineering services obligations
Plan, deliver, and review specialist engineering services
Implement operational policies and procedures
Liaise with all Engineers for effective service delivery
Support the Contract Manager in responding to customer complaints
Manage day-to-day running of the day/shift team
Act as first point of contact for site HR issues
Manage engineers carrying out maintenance in accordance with KPIs/SLAs
Provide timely support to maintain statutory compliance
Ensure compliance with all legislative and policy requirements
Produce required incident documentation
Act as Appointed/Responsible Person for Technical Disciplines
Manage engineer data in the CAFM system
Supervise sub-contractors and specialist providers
Build strong professional relationships
Drive effective maintenance policies
Participate in 24/7 on-call rota
Proactively manage preventative maintenance and corrective works
Identify and manage a Critical Spares strategy
Carry out sub-contractor audits
Manage and co-ordinate statutory maintenance activities
Support area team members
Support and develop Company Values
Ensure KPIs are achieved and reported
Carry out monitoring of service requirements
Monitor performance of staff and contractors
Report to Contract Manager on labour and efficiencies
Provide reports as directed
Prepare reports and audits on sub-contractors
Act as focal point for site H&S management
Ensure all Technical Appointments are in date
Comply with SHEQ information requests
Work to company health and safety policy
Ensure PPE is safe
Report accidents and near misses
Requirements:
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Experience supervising and managing a team of static engineers
Experience ensuring PPM and Reactive Works are completed safely and timely
Experience ensuring compliance with contracted output specifications and processes
Experience providing engineering support in emergency situations
