Job Responsibility

  • Administer contracts across the full lifecycle, including execution, amendments, renewals, extensions, and close-out activities
  • Draft, review, and coordinate contracts, agreements, and related commercial documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Review contractual terms and support negotiations to ensure alignment with business objectives and risk considerations
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with client contract leads and supply chain management (SCM) networks
  • Facilitate contract execution and distribution, while tracking obligations, key terms, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate proposal development, including documentation, version control, contributor inputs, approvals, and final submission packaging, in collaboration with Business Development
  • Maintain document control standards and prepare regular reporting on contract and proposal activities for internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management in the oil sands is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, contract negotiation, proposal development, and commercial support is required
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required

Nice to have

  • Post-Secondary education such as diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline is an asset
  • Experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software is an asset
