Job Description:

Our client, a leading biotech company is seeking a 5 plus years Contract Manager will manage, draft, and negotiate a wide array of contracts critical to their clinical, research, commercial, and operational success. The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting legal operations within highly regulated environment and thrives on cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven setting. The contract manager thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for healthcare with minimal direction.

Job Responsibility:

Manage, draft, and negotiate a wide array of contracts critical to clinical, research, commercial, and operational success
Manage the contracting process, the contract drafting, and negotiation
Prepare, review, and revise contracts such as CTAs, IIS, Vendor, Supply, NDAs, MSAs, and Manufacturing Contracts
Ensure contracts reflect industry-specific regulatory and operational risks, including FDA and HIPAA considerations
Triage and escalate complex legal questions to in house counsel and participate in business meetings to provide legal process and guidance

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration, management, or negotiation
Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing complex contracts
Strong knowledge of calls for bids and vendor selection processes
Expertise in contract pricing and cost analysis
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards
Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for contract management
Bachelor's degree and or Paralegal Certification is highly preferred
Prior in-house legal experience in medical device, biotech, or life sciences sectors highly preferred
Familiarity with industry-specific agreements and regulatory frameworks (FDA, GCP, GMP, GDPR, HIPAA) is required
