Job Description:

We are looking for a Contract Sourcing Procurement Associate Director to support enterprise procurement initiatives for our corporate client. This opportunity sits within the health insurance industry and focuses on strategic sourcing, contracting, and category leadership across IT software, services, and related technology spend. The person in this role will guide complex purchasing efforts, advise stakeholders on sourcing strategy, and help secure strong commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead strategic sourcing and contracting activities for technology-related categories
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to shape category plans
  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle
  • Negotiate complex master service agreements
  • Use data, benchmarking, and financial analysis to support sourcing recommendations
  • Oversee multiple procurement initiatives at the same time
  • Advise internal stakeholders through ambiguous or evolving business needs
  • Support procurement operations through the use of eSourcing, procure-to-pay, or contracting tools

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of progressive experience building category strategies and leading complex sourcing initiatives within cross-functional environments
  • At least 3 years of experience drafting, evaluating, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, including master agreements and statements of work
  • Demonstrated success working in demanding, deadline-driven settings that require strong prioritization and the ability to manage several workstreams at once
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills with the ability to support recommendations through facts and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present positions clearly and gain support from stakeholders and leadership
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

Nice to have:

  • 6 years of experience in IT software or hardware sourcing, including negotiation of complex technology deals and leadership of RFx events
  • familiarity with eProcurement, procure-to-pay, contract management platforms, and related procurement systems
