Job Description:

We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization in Elgin seeking an experienced Recruiter to drive high-volume hiring initiatives focused on technician and production team lead roles. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments, operates with urgency, and is energized by directly impacting workforce growth. This is a contract position with strong potential for extension and follows a hybrid schedule, with frequent onsite presence required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume technician and production team lead roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, production supervisors, and HR teams to understand workforce and shift-based hiring needs
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to skilled technician and production leadership talent pipelines
  • Post job openings and manage recruitment marketing efforts across multiple platforms
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates with relevant technical and manufacturing experience
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and operational stakeholders
  • Support the offer process, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and onboarding coordination
  • Maintain accurate candidate documentation and workflow tracking within the applicant tracking system
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as internal hiring policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, ideally supporting technician, production, or manufacturing leadership roles
  • Strong preference for candidates with agency recruiting experience
  • corporate recruiting experience also considered
  • Proven ability to manage large requisition loads while maintaining quality and speed
  • Experience recruiting for shift-based or plant-based environments strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
