The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing all contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts and procurement of materials/equipment. This includes sub-contractor compliance with Company & established Project policies, legal requirements, and construction standards. This position will be responsible for contract development, administration, and contract close out including claims and dispute resolution.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for various construction disciplines
Draft, review, and formalize contract annexes for specific requirements of the construction projects
Lead the bidding process of construction and equipment procurement
Collaborate with Project Management, Construction Management, legal, and others on contract & procurement related issues
Manage change orders, amendments, and close out
Routine monitoring of contractor performance
Manage claims, disputes, and conflict resolution
Provide routine reporting on contract status, risk, compliance
Various other administrative and clerical duties as assigned related to contract management
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum five years of experience in contract management
Construction purchasing experience required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
