Job Description:

The Intern will work closely with Avendra's associates and Strategic Sourcing to support a large-scale migration from a legacy system to a new platform. The role is highly visible and requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and an exceptional attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Download contract documents and file appropriately
  • Interprets legal documents (e.g. supplier contracts, amendments) to accurately transcribe relevant data into Avendra's systems
  • Support a large-scale migration from a legacy system to a new platform, contributing to data validation, system readiness, and transition activities
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Contribute to change management efforts by helping develop communications, maintain documentation, and support stakeholder engagement throughout the transition
  • Assist with the development of training materials

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated history of exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to write clearly with a high degree of technical accuracy
  • Well-developed verbal ability, including excellent grammar and sentence structure
  • Ability to work independently in handling contract topics with members of Avendra's Strategic Sourcing team and the Legal Department
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects, and work under time constraints
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel (formatting)
  • Strong customer service orientation
