Job Description

We are partnering with a start-up that is looking to bring on a Contract Recruiter to support an upcoming high priority event hiring project. This begins as a 20–25 hour per week contract, with flexibility to increase to 30–35 hours based on workload. The assignment runs for three months with the possibility to extend. If the role later converts to full time, it will require four days onsite in NYC in the Flatiron area. You’ll work closely with their TA Support lead and hiring managers across the business to provide full lifecycle recruitment support which will include keep interviews moving, stay ahead of scheduling, and make sure candidates feel taken care of. Hiring will focus on events, GTM and corporate recruiting.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full cycle process from application review through offer
  • Move active applicants through interviews quickly and professionally
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the process
  • Maintain accuracy within Greenhouse
  • Support recruiting operations projects like cleaning up Slack channels and Google Workspace
  • Bring structure and calm to a fast paced, ambiguous environment

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience
  • must have experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience supporting media, events, or other fast moving environments highly desired
  • Hands on Greenhouse experience required
  • Comfortable using Slack as a primary internal communication tool
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Organized, detail oriented, and steady under pressure
  • Thrives in ambiguity and works well with demanding teams
