Job Description:

We’re looking for a Contract Operations Strategist to advise and support the New Business and Customer & Expansion teams on the efficient execution of deals, ensuring new contracts and renewals are accurately structured and meet compliance requirements. This role is open to applicants located in Mexico City. In this role, you will report to the Director, Revenue Operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise sales reps and sales managers on contract best practices, working in tandem with New Business, Customer & Expansion, Business Technology, Legal, and Finance
  • Advise and support the New Business and Customer & Expansion teams as the subject matter expert on contracts
  • Provide support to Customer Account Managers on contract renewals that may involve multiple accounts, consolidation of renewal contracts, and changes to renewal amounts and/or product mix
  • Partner with the New Business and Customer & Expansion teams to capture contractual requirements, including complex non-standard deals that may involve input from multiple departments (Legal, Finance, Product Marketing, etc.)
  • Assist in monitoring a working queue to support the team in resolving requests for assistance from sales on a daily basis and is meeting the service level agreement
  • Review contracts pre / post-sale to ensure compliance with operational procedures / financial audit requirements. Provides assistance in resolving any contractual issues found
  • Support the day-to-day use and data integrity of CRM (Salesforce), including account set-up and hierarchies, opportunity creation, quoting and closing out of opportunities, and auditing data to ensure accurate booking and forecasting of revenue
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce is enabled with required products and troubleshoot any issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in a Sales Operations role including direct experience of sales order processing, software contracts and renewals, invoicing, and revenue recognition policies relating to SaaS
  • Knowledge and understanding of internal departments (Legal, Finance, PartnerOperations, Product Marketing, etc.)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software sales processes from quote-to-cash and experience in working within CRM and Financial systems
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrates a desire to proactively help and serve internal/external customers to meet their needs
  • Open Communication: Clearly conveys thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding
