We are seeking a dynamic Contract Manager to lead all operational and commercial activities across The O2 contract. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of account management, ensuring our teams consistently deliver exceptional service to all key stakeholders across the Peninsula. This position calls for a commercially astute leader with a strategic mindset, capable of using robust performance reporting and data analysis to drive informed decision‑making, elevate operational standards and support sustainable financial performance. Based within one of the UK’s most fast‑paced and vibrant venues, the role demands flexibility, strong leadership, and a high level of commercial and operational dynamism to optimise team performance and maintain outstanding service delivery. This is a permanent role and is based at the O2.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the full commercial and contractual management of The O2 account, proactively identifying and developing new revenue opportunities across the venue and wider estate
Lead proactive client engagement through structured reporting, regular review meetings, performance dashboards, and service updates
Use workforce planning data and performance reporting to optimise staffing levels
Lead the preparation of detailed operational reports, pre-event plans and post-event evaluations, sharing insights with clients and stakeholders
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for AEG, maintaining strong, professional and trusted relationships at all levels
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience of the events or comparable industries and strong commercial awareness
Experience in managing multiple projects, work streams and/or conflicting priorities within a highly paced environment
Able to communicate clearly across field-based teams, departments and stakeholders
Excellent IT skills – strong in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
A flexible approach to working hours
IOSH/NEBOSH qualified
Traffic qualifications such as CSAS/12D, Chapter 8 are desirable
