Job Responsibility

  • Procure, package, and negotiate subcontracts through to final account
  • Manage all claims, variations, progress payments, and contract correspondence from both a head contract and subcontract perspectives
  • Oversee monthly budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Build, mentor and lead commercial team members

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the Australian commercial construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and commercial management practices
  • Experience delivering commercial towers or apartments with project values exceeding $50 million
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage all stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Tertiary or trade Qualification in Construction
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a upper management role within the commercial construction industry delivering projects in Australia for the HC
  • Post Graduate Diploma
