Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a background in grounds maintenance or environmental services? You'll play a key role in managing operational performance, client relationships, compliance, and financial growth, all while leading a dedicated team.
Job Responsibility:
Working with the local authority, council & street cleansing contracts, covering multiple City Centre and rural sites, delivering high-quality, compliant services across a wide geographical area
Oversee the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, high standards, and strong leadership
Fully responsible for contract P&L and managing contract budgets
Spot and drive opportunities to expand services and improve profitability with strong commercial focus
Operate confidently in secure, regulated environments, ensuring health & safety and SHEQ standards are met
Build strong relationships with clients, delivering consistent service and trusted support across sectors
Support procurement and re-tendering processes when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience as part of a Management Team in the grounds maintenance, environmental services or street cleansing industry
Experience of managing multi-site, high value contracts with a large workforce
Adept at navigating complex situations and conveying information clearly
In-depth knowledge of financial modelling to optimise resource allocation and drive operational efficiency in high-spec service environments
Full clean driving license.
