Leads contractual communications and commercial risk control for the OE scope. Prepares/coordinates notifications, manages changes/claims and pricing assumptions in line with the RFP, aligns with schedule and payment certifications, and supports negotiations with EPC and Grid Operator under Company validation.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and coordinate contractual notifications/letters to EPC, DSO/TSO
maintain registers ensuring time-bar compliance
Lead variation orders and claims handling (entitlement, quantum, evidence) with inputs from PM and technical leads
consolidate positions for Company approval
Support negotiations on scope/schedule/spec changes, connection conditions, and grid-compliance test agreements
Oversee cost monitoring against progress certifications
ensure alignment of certified quantities and milestones with invoices
Implement Appendix B pricing logic: fixed-price elements, monthly rates for site scopes, extensions and day-rate calculations
maintain commercial assumptions log
Coordinate with DMS governance on contractual correspondence, version control, and traceability
Provide inputs to weekly and monthly reports on commercial status, open claims, variations, and exposure
Requirements:
5-10 years in contract/commercial management on EPC/OE power or grid projects in Europe
Hands-on claims/VO negotiation experience with large EPCs and grid operators
evidence of successful outcomes
Working knowledge of German law and standard EPC/OE contracting frameworks
fluency in English and professional German
Strong contractual drafting and correspondence skills
rigorous record-keeping and notice management
Cost control literacy (earned value basics, certification workflows) and interface to planning/scheduling
Negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder influencing across multicultural teams
