In this role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of construction contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to major commercial construction projects while utilizing your expertise in contract administration and financial management.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all stages of contract processes, including bids, negotiations, compliance tracking, change orders, claims, and closeouts
Oversee subcontract agreements and ensure proper documentation and adherence to terms
Utilize Sage 300 software to handle progress billing and maintain accurate records
Mitigate risks by identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions
Ensure all financial aspects of projects align with contract terms and organizational standards
Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to contract requirements
Analyze contract pricing and terms to maximize profitability and efficiency
Monitor compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction contract management
Bachelor’s degree preferred
relevant certifications are an advantage
Advanced proficiency in Sage 300 and construction accounting systems
Strong knowledge of contract administration and negotiation processes
Familiarity with commercial construction projects and associated contract requirements
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to analyze complex contracts and provide strategic recommendations
