Job Description:

You will manage the contractual risk, obligations & P&L (revenue and cost) for a specified contract or part of a contract within the Defence Industry sector. You will be the point of contact for all contractual topics within your parameter. You will drive growth on the existing contract through effective management of moves adds and changes within your parameter. You will execute a range of workstreams in supporting the optimisation of revenue streams and profitability opportunities by contributing to the management of cost and revenue in compliance with internal and external controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute a range of workstreams in supporting the optimisation of revenue streams and profitability opportunities by contributing to the management of cost and revenue in compliance with internal and external controls
  • Contract management of a specific contract or part of a contract for one of our Defence Industry customers within Defence / Defence Industry sector
  • Responsibilities are for the contract lifecycle - from down select in the sales cycle through mobilisation, transition, in life and contract change and exit
  • Understanding and ensuring that contractual obligations are met
  • Monitoring and managing the monthly forecast for revenue and costs for the specified service or contract, scheduling timely month-end calls with the Contract Accountant
  • Raising business cases for third party suppliers relevant to the service or contract
  • Coordination, interpretation and reporting of risks, issues and change controls
  • Adherence to contract management governance processes such as monthly Contract Governance Reporting (CGR), and Manage Contract Change and Win New Business processes
  • Build open and trusting relationships with colleagues across departments and customers promoting long term partnership
