As Contract Manager, you will deliver competitive, high-quality direct contracts for hotels, transfers, day tours, and experiences across the Asia Pacific region. You will drive Leisure Land procurement excellence through strong supplier relationships, deep commercial acumen, and strategic negotiation. You will also ensure that Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) secures the best possible direct content by overseeing contract quality, supplier performance, and commercial outcomes, while partnering closely with Revenue Management, Market Managers, Distribution, and other cross-functional teams to maximise competitiveness and margin growth.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the sourcing and contracting of hotel, transfers, day tour, and experience suppliers across APAC leisure markets
Secure competitive rates, value-adds, contracting terms, and content that meet brand and customer requirements
Support complex or strategic supplier negotiations, contract escalations, and commercial problem-solving
Ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and completed within agreed timeframes to support trading requirements
Maintain key supplier relationships, ensure strong commercial partnerships and delivery against agreed expectations
Monitor Total Contract Margin (TCM), win/direct %, production trends, rate integrity, availability, and cancellation patterns
Address rate issues, content gaps, and supply challenges with data-driven actions and escalation pathways
Maintain structured supplier plans and deliver regular performance reviews with key partners
Provide Revenue Management teams with insights on supplier performance, rate competitiveness, content strength, and opportunities for commercial uplift
Influence pricing strategies by supplying market intelligence, supplier capability details, and contracting context
Identify high-value tactical and seasonal opportunities in collaboration with Market Managers
Ensure commercial insights contribute to improved yield, margin retention, and competitive positioning across the region
Work closely with Operations and Distribution teams to ensure contracted content is correctly integrated, mapped, and performing across all booking systems
Partner with Technology teams to support connectivity initiatives, data quality improvements, and troubleshooting related to contracted suppliers
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to support supplier promotions, value-adds, campaign readiness, and content quality improvements
Contribute procurement expertise to cross-functional initiatives, ensuring the supplier voice is well-represented in system, product, or process design
Oversee commercial reporting and insights across the APAC direct contracting portfolio, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and actionability
Monitor and analyse key metrics including TCM, margin performance, win/direct %, rate competitiveness, error rates, and contract delivery
Use data-driven insights in supplier conversations, negotiation strategy, and sourcing prioritisation
Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to procurement leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, risk, commercial, and ethical standards including modern slavery, indemnity, privacy, and rate integrity requirements
Maintain high data and contract quality, ensuring rate loading accuracy and adherence to internal contracting guidelines
Identify and escalate supplier risks early, including commercial underperformance, legal compliance issues, or strategic misalignment
Support Finance with override performance tracking (where applicable), contract fulfilment, dispute resolution, and governance control
Drive improvements in contracting workflows, templates, supplier onboarding processes, and vendor management tools
Identify and implement opportunities to improve contract speed-to-market, data quality, rate loading accuracy, and supplier communication
Lead or support transformation initiatives that enhance procurement capability, efficiency, and consistency across APAC
Contribute to global procurement alignment and best-practice sharing across regions
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in hotel procurement, market analysis, or similar commercial roles
Proven track record in competitive analysis and market intelligence
Experience with industry booking platforms (HELiO, Salesforce, HotelHub, Gimmonix preferred), including the ability to learn new systems quickly
Wholesale/retail travel/hotel industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of pricing, margins and competitive positioning
Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality, or related field desirable
