Job Description

Ensure that active contracts are complied with rigorously, efficiently, and in alignment with the company’s financial and economic objectives. Maintain continuous oversight of contractual clauses, identifying deviations, mitigating risks, and proactively capturing financial gains. This role sits within Finance/ Governance team, with a focus on independent monitoring, control of contractual execution, and protection of the economic value of contracts. It does not carry operational responsibilities for negotiation or supply chain activities

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze contracts with a focus on efficiency opportunities, savings, value recovery, and improvement of economic terms
  • Monitor compliance with contractual clauses (pricing, SLAs, penalties, volumes, indexation, renewals, audit rights)
  • Ensure that agreed contractual terms are correctly reflected in financial systems and in payments made
  • Identify contractual deviations, non-compliance, or inefficiencies, and act proactively to mitigate financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with contracts
  • Produce periodic analysis and reports on contractual performance, risks, financial exposure, and captured gains

Requirements

  • Degree in Management, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering and Management
  • Strong analytical skills and value-oriented mindset
  • Solid skills on accountability and focus on timely and accurate delivery (high level of rigor and attention to detail)
  • Proactive profile with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Team player and effective communication
  • Independence of thought and assertiveness
  • Experience in financial control, risk management, or governance (capability to identify contractual risks)
  • Fluent English and Portuguese
