Robert Half is seeking a Contract Litigation Paralegal to join our client in Orange County, California. As a Paralegal, you will be integral in handling customer inquiries, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring smooth operation within the team. Your role will also involve monitoring client accounts and taking necessary actions. This contract is open-ended and could result in a permanent hire opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Efficiently handle e-discovery and discovery responses
  • Prepare for trial and manage case files using Case Management Software
  • Maintain communication with courts and manage e-filing in state/federal court
  • Prepare shell pleadings and manage bates stamping
  • Engage in business litigation and maintain notary certification
  • Manage calendaring/docketing and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for efficient case management
  • Handle briefing, claim administration, and billing functions
  • Ensure effective communication and calendar management within the team
