A boutique New York-based law firm is seeking contract litigation associates with 3+ years of experience to support its growing caseload in administrative law and guardianship matters. This is a fully remote position, open to attorneys licensed in Connecticut.
Job Responsibility:
Legal Research: Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategy
Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, letters, and other legal documents
Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries and provide updates with professionalism and clarity
Litigation Prep: Assist with case preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing for hearings
Letter Writing: Draft correspondence to courts, clients, and opposing counsel
Volume Work: Manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail
Discovery: Limited
this role is not discovery heavy
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing in CT
3+ years of litigation experience
ideally in administrative or guardianship law (not required)
Comfortable with first-year associate-level work under the guidance of senior attorneys
Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
Responsive, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting
Proactive communicator who asks questions and uses available resources effectively
